What’s new at target?
Target is one of my favorite retailers. My love for Target dates back to college days; I could walk in, grab my school supplies and a new top and be back before my next class started. What’s not to love?
Today, I’m sharing a few items from my most recent Target pick up order, and there’s a theme: COMFORT
Lounge Wear Sets
You guys! This is probably the comfiest material I have ever slept in. I have been searching for new pajamas since I still sleep in the same ones from HIGH SCHOOL, and these are amazing. Yes, it’s a cropped look, but for late summer nights, that is perfect; plus it can be separated and the top worn alone. And it’s $20 for both pieces! I loved this set so much, I ordered it in black as well. I’m in the medium here.
Sweatshirts and Joggers
I am probably the last person to purchase this sweatshirt. I had a camo sweatshirt last year and it met its untimely demise recently. This one is a steal at $20 and if camo isn’t your thing, it comes in so many solids. These joggers are a favorite of mine (i have them in back and aqua). They are a lighter fleece material and wear well year round. Medium in both.
Band Tees and Mom Jeans
I am team band tee, especially if I already love the band. The Doors and I go way back, and these colors are vibrant without being overkill. Target’s band tees run small, I sized up one to a medium but wish I had gone up 2 sizes. These straight leg jeans are the real MVP. They are $22 and wear like a pair that sells for around $100. Just the right amount of stretch and structure with a high rise and a button front. I am in the 8 here, but I also purchased a 6 and can’t really see much difference.
Tiger Tees
Speaking of the 6, here are those MVP $22 denim again but in the smaller size. They are snugger right in my hip area, but fit the same everywhere else. This tiger tee is a dead ringer for the Wrangler Free People tee that sells for $$$$… but this one is $12. The secret? It’s not made for ladies! I am in the men’s medium here, and it’s the perfect causal oversized tee.
Statement Shoulders and Unicorn Find
Friends, I’m not sure I can do the muscle tee shoulder pad trend. I want to, but it’s just not for me. This tee gives a nod to that trend, but in a more feminine, less aggressive manner. It’s a thicker jersey and is universally flattering. I’m in the small, and it’s the perfect fit. OK, these pants. Since pre-pregnancy, I have been hunting, and i mean it, for a pair of paper bag waist cropped wide leg pants. I took the 9 months of pregnancy off, but I still wanted some. Shocked at the quality and the comfort of these! I am in the medium.
